Chris Rene signed a recording contract with Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records and will release his debut album later this year. The still-untitled project is confirmed to boast contributions from frequent collaborators Carsten "Soulshock" Schack and Claude Kelly.

The songwriting/production duo are responsible for hits such as "Melt" by Toni Braxton [Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records], "If I Knew Then" by Backstreet Boys [Jive Records], "International Love" by Pitbull featuring Chris Brown [J Records] and "Wait for You" by Lemar [Sony Music Entertainment].

Emeli Sande is out with the video for her new single. “Next to Me” will be released in the UK on February 5^th via EMI / Virgin Records. The Scottish singer/songwriter’s upcoming debut album, “Our Version of Events,” is scheduled for release in the UK on February 13^th.

Loick Essien enlisted the production services of Toby Gad for his upcoming debut album, “Identity,” which is due on March 5^th via Sony Music Entertainment.
