JONES RECORDING DEBUT LP, SHAREEFA BUSY ON HER SOPHOMORE
Def Jam recording artist Steph Jones is currently working on his debut album, “Mr. Ordinary”, and we can expect it sometime this year if not early 2008. He also has a remix coming up soon with label-mate Shareefa called “Ms. Incredible”, so keep an eye on that! Expect productions on “Mr. Ordinary” from Ryan “Alias” Tedder, who’s also belthing out hits on the next discs by Jennifer Lopez (Sony Music) and Leona Lewis (J Records).
While we’re on the topic of Shareefa, she recently revealed in an interview with MCP that her sophomore album is called “The Black Dahlia”, and it will be released in February 2008. Among the producers she’s currently working with are Kwame (Janet Jackson, Christina Aguilera) and Dre & Vidal (Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey).
