SOLANGE ON A COSMIC JOURNEY WITH SOULSHOCK & KARLIN
In addition to the new single, "Sandcastle Disco", Danish hitmakers Soulshock & Karlin crafted 2 other tracks for Solange's forthcoming sophomore album, "Sol-Angel & The Hadley Street Dreams", them being "Cosmic Journey" and "God Given Name".
The production duo - composed of Carsten Schack and Kenneth Karlin - collaborated with a dazzling list of artists over the years. Among their many accomplishments: producing Whitney Houston's "Heartbreak Hotel", Fantasia Barrino's "Truth Is", Keyshia Cole's "Fallin' Out", Kelly Rowland's "Still in Love With My Ex", Blu Cantrell's "Don't Wanna Say Goodbye", and Lamya's "The Woman Who".
"Sol-Angel & The Hadley Street Dreams", due on August 26th via Music World Entertainments/Geffen Records, is confirmed to sport additional alliances with Pharrell Williams of The Neptunes (Toni Braxton, Kelis Rogers), Jack Splash (Alicia Keys, Britney Spears), Robert Shea Taylor (Wynter Gordon, Paula DeAnda), Mark Ronson (Christina Aguilera, Amy Winehouse), Raphael Saadiq (Chante Moore, Teedra Moses), Marsha Ambrosius (Jazmine Sullivan, Mario Barrett), and Thomas "Cee-Lo" Callaway (Tori Alamaze, Nicole Scherzinger).
