SHAKIRA TEAMS UP WITH AKON, REDONE ON NEW ALBUM
Singer/songwriter Shakira is currently recording new material for her upcoming 4th English album on Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.
The still-untitled project is confirmed to boast collaborations with Nadir “RedOne” Khayat and Aliaune “Akon” Thiam, who are also responsible for hits such as “Just Dance” by Lady GaGa [Streamline / Interscope Records] and “Space Cowboy” by Jada [Universal Motown Records].
Other contributors expected on the follow-up to “She Wolf” are Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald (Katy Perry, Britney Spears), Olivia “Livvi Franc” Waithe (Cheryl Cole, Jordin Sparks), Benjamin “Benny Blanco” Levin (Neon Hitch, Sia Furler), Martin “Max Martin” Sandberg (Kelis, Avril Lavigne) and Ali Tamposi (Kelly Clarkson, Leona Lewis).
