British singer/songwriter Eden Rox – aka Celetia Martin – launched a new MySpace profile through which you can listen to her latest single, “Hook You Up”, off her forthcoming 3^rd offering, “Let Me Return the Favor”.

Fans of Eden’s poignant songwriting skills will be happy to learn that she’s been penning hits on the next albums by Jennifer Hudson (J/Arista Records), and The Paradiso Girls (Interscope Records).

As of today, singer/songwriter Cheri Dennis released the physical copy her long-awaited debut album, “In and Out of Love”, via Bad Boy Records. The set features the Soul Diggaz produced single “Portrait of Love”, which was also penned by Michelle Bell of Lynn & Wade L.L.P. (Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez).

Other musicians backing Dennis on the set are Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins (“Remind You”), Ryan Leslie (“I Love You”), Taurian “Adonis” Shropshire (“Dropping Out of Love”), Eric Hudson (“Pretend”), Timothy “Timbaland” Mosley (“Act Like You Know”), Shamora Crawford (“Ooh Ooh”), and Angela Hunte (“Waiting”).

After successfully landing the track “Gonna Breakthrough” on Mary J. Blige’s multi-platinum selling album, “The Breakthrough”, Atlantic Records singer/songwriter Wynter Gordon secured herself another placement on Danity Kane’s upcoming sophomore album, “Welcome to the Dollhouse”, due March 18^th via Bad Boy/Atlantic Records.

The track in question is entitled “2 of You”, which Gordon crafted with additional help from producers Taurian “Adonis” Shropshire (Natasha Ramos, Tynisha Keli) and Bryan Michael Cox (Faith Evans, Chante Moore).

Verdict:

Let it be known that Lily Allen has a very unique way of storytelling through her addictive music, and it's also pretty refreshing to hear someone sing in the English accent, which is endearing as well!

Even though she may sound utterly frank and brash on tracks like "Smile", "Not Big" and the utterly hilarious "Knock 'Em Out", Allen also shows her softer side on the Mark Ronson produced "Friend of Mine", and embraces her imperfections on the Karen Poole penned "Cheryl Tweedy".

Other notable joints include "Everything's Just Wonderful", which wouldn't sound out of place on Emma Bunton's 60's inspired LP, "Life in Mono", whereas "Friend of Mine" is the perfect example of radio-friendly Reggae/Pop music.

PS. "Shame for You" heavily samples elements from Dawn Penn's classic "No, No, No", produced by veteran musicians Sly Dumbar & Robbie Shakespeare, yet it's not been credited on the album's sleeve. Shame on you guys!!!!

Verdict: (3/5) – Good.

It's been confirmed that Corey Williams penned "Thirsty" is the track up and coming producer Eric Hudson cooked up for Cassie's forthcoming sophomore album, which is earmarked for May 20^th release via Next Selection/Bad Boy Records.

Whilst this may be the first time the model turned singer collaborates with Hudson, it certainly isn't with when it comes to Williams as he penned the tracks "Ditto", taken from her self-titled debut album.

The Connecticut native's  as-yet untitled set is scheduled to boast additional alliances with Kanye West (Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey), The Neptunes: Pharrell Williams & Chad Hugo (Britney Spears, Gwen Stefani), Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins (Natasha Bedingfield, Samantha Jade), Nate "Danja" Hills (Nicole Scherzinger, Jeannie Ortega), Bryan Michael Cox (Wynter Gordon, Mary J. Blige), Kara Dioguardi (Ashlee Simpson, Joss Stone), and Ryan Leslie (Cheri Dennis, Megan Rochell).

It has been confirmed that “Side Effects” is the track super producer Scott Storch produced on Mariah Carey’s forthcoming album, “E=MC²”, which is due 15^th April via Island/Def Jam Records.

Storch is best known for his work with artists such Beyonce (“Baby Boy”), Kelly Rowland (“Comeback”), Keyshia Cole (“Give Me More”), Janet Jackson (“Island Life”), Toni Braxton (“Please”), Christina Aguilera (“Fighter”), Mya (“Lock You Down”), Silena Murrell (“Bring It Home”), and Paris Hilton (“Jealousy”).

For those who came in late, this is not the first time Carey collaborates with Storch as they previously hooked up on “You Make Me Wanna” by Jadakiss, and a remix to “It’s Like That” featuring Fat Joe.
