Model turned singer Cassie’s new single “Official Girl”  - now available at her official MySpace profile - was initially recorded by up and coming Def Jam recording artist Karina Pasian, who is also gearing up for the release of her self-titled debut album in June.

The Nate “Danja” Hills produced track is being dubbed to kick-off the “Me & You” singer’s forthcoming sophomore album, which is due in September via Next Selection/Bad Boy Records.

Singer/songwriter Christina Milian is reportedly still working on her forthcoming 3^rd album with musicians The Writing Camp, which consists of members Evan "Kidd" Bogart, Erika "E-Nuri" Nuri, Victoria "Lady V" Horn & David "DQ" Quinones.

The up and coming songwriting team have collectively penned hits for the likes of Rihanna ("S.O.S."), Fantasia Barrino ("When I See You"), The D.E.Y. ("Give You The World"), and Ashley Tisdale ("He Said, She Said").

On the other hand, Milian's first effort with Interscope/MySpace records is expected to spawn additional collaborations with Jonathan "J.R." Singer/Actress Ciara has dubbed her next effort "Fantasy Ride", and will release it later this year via Jive Records. Lead single "High Price" featuring Ludacris marks their 2^nd collaboration after the hit single “Oh”, which was produced by Dre & Vidal: Andre Harris and Vidal Davis (Amerie, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys). 

As previously reported, “Fantasy Ride” also features musicians Polow Da Don (Fergie, Kelly Rowland), Nate “Danja” Hills (Karina Pasian, Paula DeAnda), T.Pain (Sophia Fresh, Asia Cruise), and The Clutch: Ezekiel Lewis, Candice Nelson, Balewa Muhammad & Patrick “J.Que” Smith (Fantasia Barrino, Katharine McPhee).

Singer/actress Vanessa Hudgens has christened "Sneaker Night" as the lead single from her forthcoming sophomore album, "Identified", which is due later this year via Hollywood Records.

For "Identified", Hudgens sought out many of today's biggest musicians including songwriter Kara DioGuardi, best known for her work with Ashlee Simpson ("Pieces of Me"), Hilary Duff ("With Love"), Christina Aguilera ("Ain't No Other Man"), and Lindsay Lohan ("Confessions of a Broken Heart").

Singer/songwriter Katy Perry is currently putting the final touches on her forthcoming debut album “One of the Boys”, which will be released later this year via Capitol Records. The set features tracks like “Ur So Gay”, “Hot N Cold”, “Use Your Love Cover”, “Simple”, “Wakin’ Up in Vegas” and “Wishing You the Worst”.
