Singer/songwriter Solange Knowles posted a new song on her official MySpace profile entitled "Sandcastle Disco", so make sure you check it out! The track was produced by Danish production duo Soulshock & Karlin - best known for their work with Keyshia Cole ("Fallin' Out"), Kelly Rowland ("Still in Love with my Ex"), Fantasia Barrino ("Truth Is"), and Destiny's Child ("Dance with Me").

Knowles' forthcoming sophomore album, "Sol-Angel & The Hadley Street Dreams", is due on 26^th August via Geffen Records. The set will be preceded by lead single "I Decided", which was co-written and produced by Pharrell Williams of The Neptunes (Kelis, Toni Braxton).

It has been confirmed that singer/actress Jennifer Hudson will release her highly anticipated debut album on 1^st September via Arista Records.

Singer/songwriter Robin Thicke has dubbed "Something Else" as the title of his forthcoming album, which is due September 9th via Star Trak/Interscope Records. The set will be preceded by lead single "Magic", written and produced by Thicke, who also crafted the entire new LP.

British songstress Melanie Brown is reportedly working on her forthcoming 3^rd solo album with super producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, best known for his work with Beyonce (“Déjà Vu”), Toni Braxton (“He Wasn’t Man Enough”), Whitney Houston (“It’s Not Right, But It’s Okay”), and Janet Jackson (“Feedback”).

Darkchild also collaborated with Scary Spice on the UK top 10 single “Tell Me” off her debut LP “Hot”, in addition to the tracks “Holler”, “Let Love Lead the Way”, “Weekend Love”, “Wasting My Time” and “Get Down With Me”, taken from the Spice Girls’ last studio album “Forever”.

Dominican-American singer/pianist Karina Pasian has dubbed "First Love" as the title of her forthcoming debut album, which will be released on 3^rd June via Island/Def Jam Records. The set will be preceded by lead single "16 @ War", co-written by Terius "Dream" Nash (Rihanna, Britney Spears) and produced by Christopher "Tricky" Stewart (Wynter Gordon, Lucy Walsh).

In addition to "16 @ War", other tracks slotted for inclusion on the set are "Can't Find the Words", "Go Back", "Cry", "Can't Bring Me Down" and "Winner".

Canadian singer/songwriter Alanis Morissette has christened June 10^th as the release date of her forthcoming Warner Bros. album, “Flavors of Entanglement”, which was fully produced by Guy Sigsworth (Madonna, Sugababes, Bjork, Britney Spears).  

The 11 track set features tracks like “Citizens of the Planet”, “Versions of Violence”, “Straitjacket”, “Torch”, “Moratorium”, “Tapes”, “In Praise of the Vulnerable Man”, “Not As We”, “Giggling Again for No Good Reason”, “Incomplete” and lead single “Underneath”.

British singer/songwriter Amy Winehouse has squashed rumors that she’s crafting the theme song for James Bond forthcoming movie, “The Phantom of Solace", and instead working hard on the follow-up to "Back to Black" with frequent collaborator Mark Ronson (Solange Knowles, Nikka Costa, Christina Aguilera). The as-yet untitled set is currently earmarked for an early 2009 release, so keep an eye for that!
