Soul songstress Chante Moore has set a June 17^th release date for her forthcoming album “Love the Woman”, which will be preceded by the Shalea Frazier produced “Ain’t Supposed to Be”.

Veteran musicians Raphael Saadiq (Teedra Moses, Mary J. Blige) and Warryn Campbell (Brandy, Christina Milian) are among the confirmed collaborators backing Gold-selling vocalist on her first effort with Peak Records.

In addition to the title track, other songs that are slotted for inclusion are the acoustic “Special”, and the piano-driven “My Eyes”. The set also features covers of Minnie Ripperton’s “Give Me the Time”, Aretha Franklin’s “Start of Something Big” and Nancy Wilson’s “Guess Who I Saw Today“.

“Love the Woman” comes 8 years after Moore’s last solo album, “Exposed”, which was spawned hits like "Straight Up" and "Bitter". The disc featured collaborations with Jermaine Dupri (Alicia Keys, Janet Jackson), Bryan Michael Cox (Faith Evans, Toni Braxton), Christopher “Tricky” Stewart (Silena Murrell, Celine Dion), Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis (Deborah Cox, Vanessa Williams), and Tim Kelley & Bob Robinson (Mya Harrsion, Jennifer Lopez).

Up and coming group Clique Girlz released their digital EP as of Wednesday (29^th April) via Geffen Records. The set features tracks like “How Do You like Me So Far”, “The Difference in Me” and “Then I Woke Up”. The latter 2 tracks were crafted by Kara DioGuardi (Ashlee Simpson, Hilary Duff), and John Shanks (Kelly Clarkson, Michelle Branch).

Canadian artist Fefe Dobson is plotting a summer release for her forthcoming 3^rd studio album, which will be preceded by lead single “Set Me Free”.

Dobson’s unreleased sophomore LP, “Sunday Love”, included joints such as “This is My Life”, “The Initiator” and “Don’t let it go to Your Head”.  The tracks mentioned were all co-written and produced by Billy Steinberg & Josh Alexander – best known for their work with Jojo (“Too Little, Too Late”), Katharine McPhee (“Over It”), Leona Lewis (“The Best You Never Had”), and The Veronicas (“I Could Get Used to This”).

Jive records' artist Lil' Mama is currently shooting the video for her new single "L.I.F.E." with director R. Malcolm Jones. The track was penned by Edwin "Lil' Eddie" Serrano (Kylie Minogue, Paula Abdul).
