The as-yet-untitled set is also said to feature collaborations with Pharrell Williams of The Neptunes (Britney Spears, Gwen Stefani), Timothy “Timbaland” Mosley (Madonna, Nelly Furtado), Stargate: Tor Erik Hermansen & Mikkel Storleer Eriksen (Beyonce, Mariah Carey), Schaffer “Ne-Yo” Smith (Katharine McPhee, Nicole Scherzinger), and Tawanna “Frankie Storm” Dabney (Rihanna, Stacie Orrico).

Being in Vegas was so cool; I always wanted to see what it was like. I've seen the Black Pyramid, The Sphinx and the Eiffel Tower. At night, the city looks amazing with all the lights going off. It's a strange place to be at first, because it's right in the middle of the desert. Sometimes I felt like I was standing in Disneyland for grownups! But of course, I wasn't there for the sights. I was there to work with RedOne, and in the three days we worked with each other, we came up with two amazing songs. On one of the songs, a co-writer jumped in - her name is Lady Gaga and she is an amazing artist as well (be on the look out!). Yesterday, I flew from Las Vegas into New York. I am so psyched to be in New York because I will be working with some amazing producers. Right now, I am in my hotel room and I just came back from a writing session with Toby Gad. I already worked with him once, so it was cool to see him again. You might know his work - the song that everybody will know that he did is "Big Girls Don't Cry" with Fergie. Tomorrow, Toby and I have another day to write. Then after that, I will be working with Stargate. Soul songstress Chante Moore has set a June 17^th release date for her forthcoming album “Love the Woman”, which will be preceded by the Shalea Frazier produced “Ain’t Supposed to Be”.

Veteran musicians Raphael Saadiq (Teedra Moses, Mary J. Blige) and Warryn Campbell (Brandy, Christina Milian) are among the confirmed collaborators backing Gold-selling vocalist on her first effort with Peak Records.

In addition to the title track, other songs that are slotted for inclusion are the acoustic “Special”, and the piano-driven “My Eyes”. The set also features covers of Minnie Ripperton’s “Give Me the Time”, Aretha Franklin’s “Start of Something Big” and Nancy Wilson’s “Guess Who I Saw Today“.

“Love the Woman” comes 8 years after Moore’s last solo album, “Exposed”, which was spawned hits like "Straight Up" and "Bitter".
