Originally due June 3^rd, singer/songwriter/pianist Karina Pasian's debut Island/Def Jam album, "First Love", has been pushed back to 19^th August.

As previously reported, the album features collaborations with John Legend (Fergie, Keyshia Cole), Schaffer "Ne-Yo" Smith (Christina Milian, Nicole Scherzinger), Carlos McKinney (Dear Jayne, Chris Brown), Warren "Oak" Felder (Che'Nelle, Kelly Rowland), and Sean "The Pen" Garrett (Raven Symone, Britney Spears).

The set's lead single, "16 @ War", was co-written by Terius "Dream" Nash (Rihanna, Wynter Gordon), and produced by Christopher "Tricky" Stewart (Ciara Harris, Lucy Walsh).

Country singer Shania Twain is expected to release the follow-up to her multi-platinum selling disc, "Up", some time next year via Mercury Records. However, there's no word whether her long-time collaborator and ex-husband Robert "Mutt" Lange will be part of the as-yet-untitled project.

Side Note: Britney Spears' "Don't Let Me Be the Last to Know", off her sophomore album "Oops! … I did it Again", was co-written by Twain and produced by Lange.

“When I Grow Up” is said to be the lead single off the Pussycat Dolls’ forthcoming sophomore album, which is due later this year via A&M/Interscope Records.

Other track titles slotted for inclusion on the as-yet untitled set are “Bottle Pop” and “Away”, both produced by Fernando Garibay – best known for his work with Paris Hilton (“Love is Blind”) and Whitney Houston (“Nothing But Love”).

Congratulations to Barbadian beauty Rihanna for scoring her 3^rd # 01 single on Billboard's Hot 100 with “Take a Bow” as of Thursday (15^th May 2008). The track was co-written by Schaffer “Ne-Yo” Smith (Christina Milian, Paula DeAnda), and produced by Stargate: Tor Erik Hermansen & Mikkel Storleer Eriksen (Beyonce Knowles, Mariah Carey).

R&B songstress Mary J. Blige is confirmed as one of the guests on OutKast member Big Boi's first solo album, "Sir Luscious Left Foot ... Son of Chico Dusty", which is due later this year via Laface/Zomba Records. The track in question is entitled "The World is Too Big", and it's slated to be the 2^nd single off the project.

R&B/Pop group The D.E.Y have set a 26^th July release date for their debut album, "The D.E.Y Has Come". The Epic Records' set features collaborations with Jonathan "J.R." Rotem (Mya Harrison, Jennifer Lopez), Evan "Kidd" Bogart of The Writing Camp (Christina Milian, Paula DeAnda), Makeba Riddick (Rihanna, Jessica Simpson), Stargate: Tor Erik Hermansen & Mikkel Storleer Eriksen (Atomic Kitten, Misteeq), and Timothy "Timbaland" Mosley (Nelly Furtado, Alicia Keys).

In addition to singles "I Need You" and "Give You the World", other tracks expected to appear on the album are the Makeba Riddick penned "No Looking Back", and "Get the Feeling", produced by Timbaland.
