As previously reported, Ashlee Simpson will release her 3^rd album in November via Geffen Records whose official website recently announced "Murder" as the lead single. The as yet untitled set is expected to feature productions from John Legend (Mariah Carey, Jennifer Hudson), Sean “The Pen” Garrett (Gwen Stefani, Britney Spears), Tim “Timbaland” Mosley (Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez) and Mark Ronson (Amy Winehouse, Christina Aguilera).

According to a recent interview with ?uestlove of The Roots, Grammy nominated artist Corinne Bailey Rae wrote two songs on their forthcoming 10^th album, “Rising Down”, for which no release date has been set yet. He also called the British beauty “a monster songwriter”.

According to songwriter Kara Dioguardi’s official website, “Ooh Baby” and “Heaven” are titles of songs she contributed for Britney Spears’ as yet untitled 5^th studio album. The set which is due November 13^th via Jive Records, is preceded by lead single “Gimme More” produced by Nate “Danja Handz” Hills, who also collaborated with Dioguardi on tracks like “Love Story”, “Not Ur Girl”, “Neglected” and “Each Other” taken from Katharine McPhee’s self titled debut LP.

According to Mutya Buena’s official website, “Just a Little Bit” will the third single lifted from her debut album – “Real Girl”. The joint was co-written by Pam Sheyne (Corinne Bailey Rae, Christina Aguilera) and produced by Eg White (Javine, Natalie Imbruglia). What do you think of this choice?

Word has it that George Michael is penning the comeback single by Spice Girls to ensure them a # 01 Christmas single this year. Don't forget that he's very good friends with Geri "Ginger Spice" Halliwell, and she also appeared as a cartoon character on the video for his politically correct single - "Shoot the Dog".

The recently reformed band's last album, "Forever", was released in 2000 via Virgin Records.
