Pop star Ashlee Simpson is plotting a March 2008 release for her upcoming 3^rd Geffen album, and it will be fueled by the Timbaland produced lead single “Out of My Head (Ay Ya Ya)”.

Here’s what the “Pieces of Me” singer has to say about the new joint: “It's about too many voices, too many people having their own opinion. It's mainly a fun, dancey song. I think it's got a little bit of an '80s feel to it, too — you'll hear that in it. But at the same time, it's Timbaland."
