In addition to "Marching", another official song title from Paula DeAnda's sophomore album has been released. The track entitled "Close to Close", was co-written by Arnthor Birgisson, Savan Kotecha and Martin "Max Martin" Sandberg. It has also been registered with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), a music copyright holding agency. Although its one of the several titles from DeAnda's upcoming sophomore offering to be registered, the song may not make the final cut. 

Birgisson, Kotecha and Sandberg have collectively worked on tracks performed by Janet Jackson ("All Nite"), Danity Kane ("Stay With Me"), Katy Perry ("I Kissed a Girl"), Leona Lewis ("I Will Be"), Diana DeGarmo ("Cardboard Castles"), Lindsay Lohan ("Symptoms of You"), Geri Halliwell ("Ride It"), and The Veronicas ("4Ever").

Other musicians backing DeAnda on the yet to be titled project are Jonathan "J.R." Rotem (Lyrica Anderson, Teedra Moses), Ryan "Alias" Tedder (Wynter Gordon, Robyn Janelle), Kandi Burruss (Alicia Keys, LeToya Luckett), and The Writing Camp: Evan "Kidd" Bogart, Victoria "Lady V" Horn, Erika "E-Nuri" Nuri & David "DQ" Quinones (Christina Milian, Jordyn Taylor).

After initially producing 6 tracks from her last album, “Blackout”, including “Gimme More”, “Break the Ice”, “Get Naked (I Got a Plan)”, “Hot as Ice”, “Perfect Lover” and “Outta This World”, super hitmaker Nate “Danja” Hills will reunite with Britney Spears by crafting new material for her upcoming 6^th studio effort on Jive Records.

The as yet untitled project is scheduled to boast additional collaborations with Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem (Jennifer Lopez, Leona Lewis), Bloodshy & Avant: Christian Karlsson & Pontus Winnberg (Christina Milian, Jordin Sparks), Sean “The Pen” Garrett (Ashlee Simpson, Nelly Furtado), Cathy Dennis (Kelly Clarkson, Janet Jackson), Jack Splash (Estelle Swaray, Solange Knowles), Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald (Katy Perry, Vanessa Hudgens), Polow Da Don (Keri Hilson, Mya Harrison), and Guy Sigsworth (Alanis Morissette, Kate Havnevik).

Despite parting ways on the personal front, rapper/producer Kasseem "Swizz Beatz" Dean and singer/songwriter Mashonda Tifrere are working together on the latter's upcoming sophomore album for which the lead single is coming out later this year.

Dean previously helmed 3 tracks on Tifrere's debut, "January Joy", them being "Girlfriend", "Back of da Club" and the Sean "The Pen" Garrett assisted "Blackout". They also crafted Mya Harrison's hit single "The Best of Me", which Mashonda co-wrote and Swizzy produced.

In addition to putting the final touches on her forthcoming sophomore effort, “Sol-Angel & The Hadley Street Dreams”, Geffen recording artist Solange Knowles is also penning songs on Beyonce’s upcoming 3^rd album, which is expected to drop later this year via Music World Entertainment/Columbia Records.

The “I Decided” singer previously co-wrote tracks like “Get Me Bodied”, “Upgrade U” and “Flaws & All” for Beyonce’s last offering, “B’Day”, besides other joints for fellow Destiny’s Child members Kelly Rowland (“Love”) and Michelle Williams (“We Break the Dawn”).

“Sol-Angel & The Hadley Street Dreams”, which is due on August 26^th via Music World Entertainment / Geffen Records, will boast production skills by Soulshock & Karlin: Carsten Schack and Kenneth Karlin (Blu Cantrell, Whitney Houston), Jack Splash (Britney Spears, Jazmine Sullivan), Mark Ronson (Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen), Raphael Saadiq (Teedra Moses, Joss Stone), Robert Shea Taylor (Nicole Scherzinger, Wynter Gordon), and Pharrell Williams of The Neptunes (Toni Braxton, Kelis Rogers), as well as songwriting contributions from Makeba Riddick (Paula DeAnda, Jessica Simpson), Thomas “Cee-Lo” Callaway (Faith Evans, Tori Alamaze), and Marsha Ambrosius (Emily King, Raven Symone).

Here is the video for Ava Leigh’s new single, “Mad about the Boy”, which was co-written by Celetia Martin (Jennifer Hudson, Paradiso Girls). Norwegian singer/songwriter Kate Havnevik is currently recording the follow-up to her critically acclaimed debut album, “Melankton”, with songwriter/producer Guy Sigsworth (who also helmed the entirety of Alanis Morissette’s latest offering, “Flavors of Entanglement”). Even though no release has been confirmed, the yet to be titled project will be distributed via Continentica Records / Universal Records USA.
