As it has been previously reported, former Sugababes member Mutya is currently working on her upcoming debut album, and the rumored lead single “Real Girl” features a sample of Lenny Kravitz’ hit “It Ain’t Over Till It’s Over”. She also roped in producer Greg Kurstin for the project, and the song he did for her is called “My Love Story”. For those who came in late, Kurstin is also known for his work on Jessica Simpson’s “A Public Affair”, All Saints“Rock Steady”, Sophie Ellis Bextor’s “Catch You” and Lily Allen’s “Alfie”.

Hey Random, thanx for the comment and I'm sorry if I replied late ... I love Mutya, and I agree that she could use a few dance moves to spice up her performance, but let me remind you that great vocalists don't need to dance ... Look at Mariah and Whitney for example ... Keep writing :)

I'm really looking forward to her album. I love the Sugababes and liked Mutya whilst she was a Sugababe - so I'm interested as to how her album will sound. I haven't heard "Real girl" so i can't comment on if she made a good single choice, but I think "2 the limit" should be a single. I used to play that song to death when she leaked it on her myspace.

Mutya could be big as a solo artist, but she's gonna have to fix up her style. She can't be coming off moody like she did in the Sugababes and she's gonna have to start dancing and being more animated in live performances. Bitch always looks depressed!
