Singer/songwriter Keri Hilson is set to release her new single “Energy” on 27th May via Mosley Music/Interscope Records. The track was co-written and produced by The Runawayz: Sam Watters, Wayne Wilkins, Louis Biancaniello & Rico Love – the same team behind Leona Lewis’ “Take a Bow” and Natasha Bedingfield’s “Love Like This”.
Even though there’s no release date confirmed for her long-delayed debut effort, “In a Perfect World”, the set is confirmed to boast production skills from Timothy “Timbaland” Mosley (Alicia Keys, Brandy Norwood), Polow Da Don (Mya Harrison, Keyshia Cole), Nate “Danja” Hills (Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez), and The Corna Boyz: Dwayne Nesmith & Pierre Medor (LeToya Luckett, Candace Jones), as well as the songwriting contributions from The Clutch: Balewa Muhammad, Patrick “J.Que” Smith, Candice Nelson & Ezekiel Lewis (Amerie, Britney Spears), Justin Timberlake (Rihanna, Esmee Denters), and Durrell “Tank” Babbs (Toni Braxton, Fantasia Barrino).
