Entry: BROWN REUNITES WITH ELLIOT ON THIRD ALBUM Friday, June 06, 2008



After scoring a number 1 UK smash single with "I Want You Back", Spice Girls star Melanie Brown is set to reunite with Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliot on her forthcoming 3rd solo album, which is slotted for release in late 2008.

 

The yet to be titled project will feature additional productions from Scott Storch (Mya Harrison, LeToya Luckett), Damon Elliot (Jessica Simpson, Alecia Moore), and Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins (Shola Ama, Christina Milian).

 

In addition to crafting recent hits with Fantasia Barrino ("I'm Not That Type"), Monica ("A Dozen Roses"), Keyshia Cole ("Let It Go"), and Jazmine Sullivan ("Need U Bad"), Missy is also assisting Jennifer Hudson on the Jack Splash produced "I'm His Only Woman", taken from her September 30th self-titled affair with Arista/J Records.

Hey Dan, thanx for the comment. Her last album didn't do well because it was released independently in the UK, and the material wasn't that good either ... Hopefully this album will turn out to be interesting cuz I didn't really like her debut either ...
