Former Floetry member Marsha Ambrosius is out with a new song entitled “When U Want”, which features Def Jam recording artist Sterling Simms. The track was produced by Warren “Oak” Felder, who’s also responsible for hits performed by Jennifer Lopez (“Mile in these Shoes”), Chris Brown & Keri Hilson (“Superhuman”), Mario Barrett (“Why”), Raven Symone (“Anti-Love Song”), Karina Pasian (“90’s Baby”) and Che’Nelle (“Hurry Up”).

The British vocalist’s forthcoming debut album on Aftermath/Interscope Records is scheduled to spawn additional productions from Shondrae “Bangladesh” Crawford (Kelis Rogers, Nina Shaw), Bernard “Focus” Edwards Jr. (Kandi Burruss, Christina Milian), Justin “Just Blaze” Smith (Mariah Carey, LeToya Luckett) and Pharrell Williams of The Neptunes (Faith Evans, Robin Thicke).

Fans of Ambrosius’ poignant songwriting skills should keep an eye on the upcoming projects by Solange Knowles (Music World Entertainment/Columbia Records),
