British group the Sugababes will release “Girls” as the lead single from their upcoming 6^th album on Universal/Island Records. The yet to be titled project is expected to feature collaborations with singer/songwriter Taio Cruz (Britney Spears, Mya Harrison) and Swedish hitmakers Bloodshy & Avant: Christian Karlsson and Pontus Winnberg (Kylie Minogue, Christina Milian), who produced the Karen Poole-assisted “Hot Under the Collar”.

The trio’s last offering, “Change”, featured alliances with Dallas Austin (Janet Jackson, Kelis Rogers), Cathy Dennis (Katy Perry, Carrie Underwood), Alonzo “Novel” Stevenson (Stacie Orrico, Joss Stone), Niara Scarlett (Girls Aloud, Danity Kane) and Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald (Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Parker Angel).
