Entry: EMELI SANDE SETS U.S. RELEASE DATE FOR DEBUT ALBUM 'OUR VERSION OF EVENTS' Thursday, May 03, 2012



Emeli Sande will release her debut album "Our Version of Events" in the United States on June 5 via EMI Music Group / Capitol Records.

The set is preceded by lead single "Next to Me," written by Emeli Sande along with Harry Craze and Hugo Chegwin.

"Our Version of Events" sports additional alliances with Shahid "Naughty Boy" Khan (Cheryl Cole, Alesha Dixon), Emile Haynie (Eminem, Lana Del Rey) and Alicia Keys (Marsha Ambrosius, Christina Aguilera).

As first tipped here, it has not yet been confirmed whether newly-recorded tracks "Wonder" and "Happy Never After" will feature on a repackage of "Our Version of Events" or her next studio collection.

Meanwhile, fans of the Scottish singer/songwriter's poignant lyrics should keep an eye on the next projects by Alicia Keys [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records], Sugababes [Universal Music Group / Polydor Records], Leona Lewis [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records], Cover Drive [Universal Music Group / Geffen / Polydor Records], Ms. Dynamite [Sony Music Entertainment / Relentless Records] and Alexandra Burke [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records].
