Entry: MARSHA AMBROSIUS REVEALS TITLE FOR SOPHOMORE ALBUM Wednesday, July 04, 2012

Marsha Ambrosius has revealed the title of her new album.

The British singer/songwriter has dubbed her upcoming sophomore album “Friends & Lovers” and will release it later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

“Friends & Lovers” serves as the follow-up to 2011’s “Late Nights & Early Mornings.” That release peaked and debuted at number two on Billboard’s 200 Albums Chart. It also launched two hit singles on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs & Singles Chart: “Hope She Cheats on You (With a Basketball Player)” (No. 22) and “Far Away” (No. 3).

Among the musicians backing Ambrosius on “Friends & Lovers” are Warren “Oak” Felder (Chris Brown, Elle Varner), Andrew “Pop” Wansel (Sterling Simms, Nicki Minaj), Eric Hudson (Jordin Sparks, Whitney Houston) and Matthew “Boi-1da” Samuels (Keri Hilson, Nicole Scherzinger).
